Your open water diving adventures begins with this certification course. The Open Water Diver Course provides the basic knowledge and skills necessary to enjoy recreational diving. Our three day certification course involves classroom and pool instruction followed by four open water dives. 

The classroom portion of the course can be made less intense if the student reads the books, completes the knowledge reviews at the end of each section and watches the video prior to arriving.

The course is completed in three days and includes course materials (book and dive table), instruction, use of tanks, weights, mask, fins, snorkel, BCD, regulator, wetsuit, two dive trips (4 dives), ITS A DIVE logbook and PADI certification card.

Divers 15 years old and above will receive the PADI Open Water Diver Certification, maximum dive depth is 60 feet.  Divers 12-14 years old will receive the PADI Jr. Open Water Diver Certification, maximum dive depth of 40 feet.  Divers 10 & 11 years old will receive the PADI Restricted Jr. Open Water Certification, maximum dive depth of 40 feet and they must dive with an instructor or parent/guardian.  In all cases the course content and performance requirements are the same.
