Ryan Pierce

Ryan moved to Key Largo from Salem, Oregon where he was an avid snow skier and wake boarder. In 1999 he joined It’s A Dive, and traded the snow for the ocean. He is the Director of Operations, a PADI Instructor Development Course Staff Instructor, Parasail Captain, a U.S.C.G. Master Captain, Equipment Repair Technician, and Emergency First Response Instructor.

Philip Marks

Phil is from Augusta, Georgia and joined It’s A Dive in 2006. He is the Operations Manager, a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer Instructor and is a U.S.C.G. Master Captain. He is also an Emergency First Response Instructor. Phil enjoys ocean life so much, that in his spare time you can find him caring for his saltwater fish tank.

Dan Goldsmith

Dan hails from Cincinnati, Ohio where he managed a large retail store. On his off days, you can find Dan spear fishing on the reefs of the Upper Keys. He is the Director of Training, a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer and a U.S.C.G. Master Captain. Dan is also an Emergency First Response Instructor and has been with It's A Dive since June of 2008.

Philip "Ewo" Ewald

Phil is from Mayo, Maryland where he managed CVS drugstore and taught scuba diving on the weekends. Rather then having a Phil #1 and a Phil #2 he was nicknamed Ewo. He started working with It's A Dive in January of 2009. Ewo lives on a sailboat and on his off days you can find him sailing around the keys.

Mike Cohen

Mike is originally from Washington, D.C. After 5 years spent as captain of a live-aboard dive boat, he came to work for It’s A Dive in 2003. Mike enjoys surfing and living the island life. He is a U.S.C.G. Master Captain and is also a NAUI Instructor (inactive teaching status).

Fermin Macias

Fermin grew up in Key Largo as a Cadet for the Monroe County Sherriff’s Department. He has been with It's A Dive since 1999. Fermin is a fanatical Halo player and kite flying enthusiast. He is a PADI open water diver, Parasail Captain and a U.S.C.G. 6-Pack Captain.

Shawn Pettit

Shawn is one of the few people that can be called a true “Conch” (born and raised in the Florida Keys). Shawn was raised on the ocean, commercial fishing with his father. He is a PADI open water diver and our water sports rental operator. He has been with It's A Dive since 2001.

Robert Harman

Robert moved to Key Largo from Charleston, South Carolina. He has been with It's A Dive since 2002. When not in Key Largo, he can be found at his oceanfront home in Utila. He is a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, Parasail Captain and a U.S.C.G. Master Captain.

Tony DelosSantos

Tony is a U.S.C.G. master captain and owner of Lyin' Hawaiian Charters. He charters backcountry fishing trips into the everglades national park. He was born in Hawaii and moved to Key Largo as a teenager. He has been fishing down here ever since and always knows where the fish are!
